A Monumental
Landscape Vase
Nearly two feet in height, the body carries a continuous mountain procession — scholars, attendants and a caparisoned elephant beneath ancient pines whose needles are drawn in gilt over malachite green.
A vessel of this scale sits at the outer limit of what the Jingdezhen kilns could fire without warping. Very few were attempted; fewer still came out of the saggar true.

We are a small shop, not an auction house. There are no buyer's premiums, no reserve prices and no bidding. What you see is the price; if you want it, call or write and it is yours.
Every piece is photographed exactly as it sits on the shelf — no retouching, no borrowed stock images — then measured and described in plain language. Where we are certain of an attribution we say so. Where we are only reading the style, we say that instead.
Buy anything from us and you have thirty days to change your mind, for any reason at all. Send it back and we refund you in full.
